The Silence in Between

Perhaps the most elusive space for human beings to enter is the gap between our thoughts. Usually we stay on one thought until another one takes over, leaving very little unused space. The spaces between our thoughts are brief, and seldom does anyone wonder what it would be like to have fewer thoughts, or what we’d find in the void between them. But the paradox is obvious. Thinking about what it would be like to be in the gap between our thoughts… is just another thought. Rather than expanding that space between, we move on to more thoughts. So why should we concern ourselves with entering the elusive gap? Because everything emerges from the void.

We get an inkling of why the gap between our thoughts is such a vital concept to grasp, and yes, to enter regularly, when we consider the following:

The place of “no thing” is where all that is “some thing” comes from.

We need the void of nothing in order to create something. As an example, consider any sound that you might make. Where does it come from? The void, Ennoia, the silence, the emptiness. Without the void, there would be noise all the time. Ennoia compliments the Bythos.

“It’s the silence between the notes that makes music” is an ancient Zen observation by shakuhachi flute masters, which clarifies this idea. Imagine, if you can, music without pauses or silent spaces. Without the pauses for silence, the music would be one infinitely long note of noise. What we call music would be impossible. This is true for all of creation, including the world that you wish to create for yourself. Creativity itself is a function of the gap.

St. Paul said, “…that which is seen, hath not come from that which doth appear.” No, indeed, it comes from the emptiness, the void, the space in between. In the silence between our thoughts, we find the possibilities of creative genius and spiritual awareness that elude us when we remain attentive only to our run-on thoughts.

Lets all try missing the Gap. Lets all move towards a new creation.

I was sitting at my desk, trying to figure out what I was going to write about in this week’s newsletter. Nothing was coming to me, so I decided to meditate for 20 minutes and see what came up. When I meditate, or distracting thoughts come to mind, I think of the statement “How may I serve?”

I came up with this statement after watching my buddy Dr. Wayne Dyer meditate on the same question—“How may I serve?”—before he went out on stage to speak. I figured if it helped him speak as well as he did, it can’t hurt me any...

After meditating, I thought of a couple of ideas to write about and wrote those things down for possible use in the future, but none of them seemed right for today. So I went on Facebook, and the first thing that came up was a blog by Gabby Bernstein. In it, she discusses watching Louise Hay’s movie You Can Heal Your Life 12 years ago, when she had been sober for 1 month, trying to figure out what to do with her life. She was enjoying the video until she heard Wayne say the words “You will see it when you believe it.” After that moment, her life was changed forever.

I then went to YouTube and decided to get a little Wayne motivation for myself. I clicked on a video of someone asking Abraham (Esther Hicks) what Wayne was up to now that he had transitioned to the other side. His response to that question was that he was “Never better.” Then, he said through Esther, “I wrote a book with the best title ever: You’ll See It When You Believe It.” When I heard that, I decided it was a sign that I needed to pass this on to you all.

I don’t know which of you reading this needed to hear this message, but I am sure at least one of you did.

Then Spirit went on to say, “Your work is to let your desire flow and then find a way of practicing your desire. Practice it into such pleasantness that is the easiest momentum that you feel, and then the universe will back you up” (as an FYI, Gabby’s bestselling book is called The Universe Has Your Back). Ballard Chelle also shares another important point:

That it is wonderful to attempt to manifest things in your life, but that you must find a way to be happy before the manifesting occurs to get into the vibration of achieving your desire, and then it will come to you more quickly.

Spirit also adds that the universe does not hear your words, the universe hears your vibration.
Wayne was a master manifester because he always followed his own advice and believed it was going to happen before it did. He believed in the power of the universe to help him make it happen, even if he didn’t know how to achieve it himself.

Love, Sharing, Caring, connecting with Spirit are the way to fully connect and Create all that you want.

5 Things Preventing Your New Year's Resolutions

Have you noticed how easy change seems in the beginning of the year? How many of us resolve to do things differently? Loose weight, make more money, find love, or to be of service and start a new spiritual career. By Spring or Summer, we realize not much has changed. And then we get to Fall when we resolve again to make those much-needed changes because the end of the year is closing in. So we find a new level of hope driven by fear of failure.

I don’t want your 2018 to be just another year of not stepping into your personal power. Don’t you think it’s time to ask for help so you can be supported by unconditional love and wisdom?
If you feel like you are experiencing some of these symptoms:
  • Trapped in your job but don't know what else to do
  • Stuck at a crossroads and can't make a decision on a new direction
  • Your healing work and intuitive abilities would be more successful if you had deeper guidance and could bring more powerful energy to your healing tools
  • You have to “hide” your spiritual side in your relationships, because your afraid of what people will say or do
  • Your lonely because people don’t see you for who you are
Now is the time to learn to align with your Soul, raise your vibration and receive divine guidance.
Need Help give me a call; we can certainly work it all out.

Looking to meet you and listen to all you have to say.

5 Ways to Change the Awareness of Ourselves to Find Happiness!!

How would we think and act in daily life if we were truly aware of our Divine essence? Obviously there wouldn’t be room to reproach ourselves because we wouldn’t doubt our abilities. In fact, we’d never look in the mirror and feel anything but love and appreciation: We’d see ourselves as fully capable of attracting all we desire; we’d treat our body with reverence and care, giving thanks for its Divine design; we’d celebrate every thought we have, knowing its Divine origin; and we’d become aware of our enormous talents and be awed by all that we are.

We need to encourage the awareness of our magnificence in every regard. When that awareness has been reawakened, the seedlings of inspiration will begin blossoming. Here’s a way of expressing these fundamental truths, offered to us by the writings of Bahaullah, of the Baha’i faith:

“This most great, this fathomless and surging Ocean is near, astonishingly near, unto you. Behold it is closer to you than your life-vein! Swift as the twinkling of an eye ye can, if ye but wish it, reach and partake of this imperishable favor, this God-given grace, this incorruptible gift, this most potent and unspeakably glorious bounty.

There’s no way to be in-Spirit without a changed awareness—so when we accomplish this, we give ourselves the gift of moving from being flawed, limited, lacking, and imperfect to being completely comfortable with our magnificence. This unspeakably glorious bounty is so close to us . . . all we have to do is to make a few “twinkling-of-an-eye” adjustments, so why not begin now?

Some Suggestions for Putting These Ideas to Work for You:
  1. Forgiving yourself for everything you’ve felt shame about is highly important. Whatever happened was necessary, so let go of regret and replace your negative feelings with gratitude for what you’ve learned. If your objective is to be inspired, then you must eradicate your resistance to that magnificent state of being. After you’ve forgiven yourself, extend the same courtesy to everyone who you feel mistreated you. There are three people in my life whom I once felt so much anger and hatred toward that I’d get sick to my stomach whenever I thought of them. However, since I’ve extended love to these individuals, all manner of great things have flowed to me from the world of Spirit. Practice forgiveness every day. The most difficult or impossible situations are the most essential.
  2. Keep a list of everything that interests and excites you, no matter how insignificant. Remind yourself that these are indicators or clues that within and around you lie both the talent and the necessary Spirit assistance to bring them into your reality.
  3. How about taking the time to give the temple in which you reside the ultimate love and respect? Your physical body is sacred space—it’s Divine, beautiful, and perfect—yet you can certainly choose to bestow upon it whatever improvements you wish. There are lots of beneficial housekeeping choices you can make: Firm it up, eliminate toxins, even redecorate it, but keep the awareness of your blessed, divine, perfect body that’s capable of anything you desire from the place of being in-Spirit.
  4. Here’s an inspiring thought to keep close to your heart: Just as you’ll never find light by analyzing the darkness, you’ll never find your magnificence by analyzing what you believe to be undistinguished about yourself. Look for opportunities to verify your greatness, and expand your view of yourself as a splendid creation. Whenever a thought of ordinariness pops into your mind, put the brakes on immediately and affirm something like: I’m a Divine being, a distinct portion of the essence of God. This silent reminder will do more for your inspiration than a thousand books and a hundred seminars.

6 Ways to Conquer Anxiety in the New Year

“Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
― Charles Spurge

One of the oldest emotions and one of the hardest to conquer. Here are a few suggestions:
  1. Meditation in a good environment (Spiritual Class)
  2. Yoga
  3. Learning how to breath during the attack
  4. Reading a book
  5. Being quiet within
  6. Learn to love yourself
What ever is causing it for you Look at whatever you are doing and try to understand it. It usually happens because you are unsure of yourself so therefore, it causes FEAR. Work on your Fears. Learn to love and respect yourself.

The Best with the Worst

“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
― Marilyn Monroe.

Our best is always the way to go. I do not want to see your worst. So we all must try and think of the other person. Sharing, caring and giving are the secret. Look inside and try to bring forward your best attribute. You will be rewarded in the end.

2018 Astrological Points to Look Out For

I'm sure you're noticing this year feels a bit different. We're only one month into it and it feels like New Year's Day was ages away.

This year's energy is vastly different than 2017, and presents a whole new set of experiences. The Universe has given you a celestial map. There are Universal forces of energy that guide us on our path of self-discovery. Every year the calendar changes, there is a new set of spiritual lessons and circumstances. We can use the cycles of numbers and planets as clues to guide us on our journey.
2018 is a year of Illumination and Love

In Numerology, 2018 is an 11 Universal Year (2+0+1+8 = 11).

11 is considered a Master Number - meaning you are given more profound opportunities to master your life. 11 is considered the number of illuminated intuition - so your journey will be guided with your inner eyes. 11 is the number of Karmic Balance. Although the Universal energies affect everyone, the way you experience them is very personal. In an 11 Universal Year, you will learn many lessons around relationships.
11 is also associated with Karma - and more specifically healing karma, so you can experience more love and balance in your life. Karma is not simply about good and bad. If you look at the sacred geometry of our Master Number 11, there are two 1s each standing in their power. This is balanced energy.
Oftentimes as empaths and sensitive souls, we tend to give too much. Every time you compromise your well-being to please other people, you are tipping the Karmic scales of balance.
If you would like to balance the Karmic scales in your relationships you must:
  1. Be true to yourself
  2. Practice love and forgiveness for yourself and others
  3. Create and maintain healthy boundaries
  4. Honor and respect yourself
  5. Treat yourself with compassion.

Bring your awareness to the relationships in your life and ensure you are giving and receiving in equal measure. If you focus on bringing balance in your relationships, this is sure to be a rewarding and exciting year!

Sometimes in a relationship you cannot bring balance in to it. Now comes the real reasons if this is supposed to make it or not. If you cannot make it work then you have to accept that Spirit is really guiding you and saying it is not supposed to work. Trust in Spirit it knows more than you do when it comes to you. Look at how much you have in your life and enjoy your own life.

Dreams of Success

I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
― Henry David Thoreau

Always keep your personal desire in your conscious memory this will keep it alive and at the the right time it will appear and give to you the perfect result. Love your fellowman is the right direction.
Share as much as you are able and life will give you the greatest rewards.

3 Ways to a Better Night's Sleep

One of the fastest ways to restore and to improve health, is to get more sleep. Sounds so simple, but most people aren't getting enough.

At one time or another, we have all felt run-down, or worse, utterly exhausted. There are life stressors and medical conditions that can knock us flat, and we are left to stumble through the day with foggy minds and listless bodies. Here are a few tips to help you sleep more, sleep better and allow your body to create the healing hormone (HGH).

IMPORTANT: Before I give you these tips, know this: If you are feeling chronically fatigued, you need to see your general health practitioner so they can rule out any obvious medical issues or dietary deficiencies.

  1. Stop indulging in electronics late in the evening. We need to quiet our mind at night, so it can do its job and let us float off into sleep. Modern electronics like TV, computers, and smartphones certainly do not help, beeping and ringing sometimes all night. On top of the sounds and distraction, our brains have evolved to produce the sleep hormone in response to darkness, allowing us to naturally feel sleepy after sunset, and wake at or near sunrise. The High Energy Visible (HEV) Blue Light emitted from all digital device LED screens – namely, iPhones, iPods, iPads, Samsung Galaxy and all smartphones, Kindle Fire and all tablets, laptop and computer screens – hasbeen discovered to be a factor in sleep disorders caused by Blue Light suppressing your body's melatonin production (And disruption of the sleep-wake cycle has been connected to diabetes and possibly obesity.) This can be solved by wearing special blue-light suppressing glasses. A simple Google search will offer you dozens of choices. A note about melatonin: It is not commonly known, but low melatonin levels may affect gene activation and how genes influence our overall health and add to decreased memory, lower cognitive function, increased mood swings and an overall lack of energy. Avoiding TV right before bedtime, lowering light levels in the house, and avoiding smartphones and computers in bed, are simple solutions to adopt immediately. (One simple action item is to use an old-fashioned alarm clock rather than having your smartphone on in your bedroom.)
  2. The next easy solution is resting or sleeping in your bed, in your bedroom. Falling asleep in front of the TV or on your couch is simply poor sleep hygiene and terrible for your body and your health. And, make sure your mattress and pillows are super comfortable and great for your body.
  3. Get out and be in the daylight as soon as possible after you wake up each morning. Morning sunlight has a bigger effect on sleep than almost any other variable. In the morning, if we get bright light exposure, our brain turns on a timer and says, okay, 14 hours after this is time to sleep, and you're ready to have a good deep refreshing sleep cycle after you start that whole process. The magic amount seems to be about a half an hour of exposure within an hour of waking. Just being outside, even if it's overcast or anything, there's so much more light intensity.
Have a better night and day!
